Beuerlein, you are going to need more than a new boat and poor taste to win Ruff Riders.

Thats true but all that changed once I got rid of that worthless lightweight crew I used to have. My goodness, that guy could lose a mano a mano bout with a shrimp enchilada!

If I remember right Mike B seems to be the one most often having team weight issues???

Posted By: scott keeLets Be ThankfulPosted Date: 8/26/2010

We should be thankful that Mike has survived and will be present at the event, instead of us doing an eulogy at skippers meeting in remembrance of Mike. If there is a weight issue, Im sure Mike will take care of it in the proper way.

Ran into Mike Rohrer at AYC recently. He looked a little thin. He has done 5 of 12 of his so-called chemo sessions and it looks questionable he and Chris will make MW. When I questioned him on this issue, he proposed using his colostomy bag as his penalty weight.

Scott, I trust you will not fall victim to this gross and willful misinterpretation of F-18 class rules. Crew weight must be ascertained in swim suit only (no colostomy bags allowed) and furthermore, penalty weights must be affixed to a stationary point on the boat. Now, I certainly appreciate that Rohrer has lost a little agility over the years, but he can by no means yet be considered a stationary point.

Just trying to keep this thing on the up & up.

My old Infusion may yet appear under new management (cmon Colin!) but I will be sailing a new-to-me C2. No more Mr. Nice Guy, Im gunnin for you, Rohrer!

Hello,

Its Kevin from San Antonio, havent sailed the Ruff Rider in um never mind way to long. I am looking to sail the ruff rider this year. I just need a skipper with a boat. John might vouch for me for being decent crew.
