Over Port Isabel bridge to South Padre Island, turn left and follow the road ~5 miles north, past the Convention Center (big multi-colored building on the left), then turn left to the sand flats, beach permit required. Skipper's meeting Saturday, August 30th 10:00 am. Start and finish to be announced at Skipper's meeting.REGISTRATION
The 2008 RuffRider registration will open July 6th and end August 10th any registration received after that date will be required to include a $75.00 late fee, any registration received after August 17th will not be accepted and returned to sender. Any registration received without funds will be discarded. A maximum of 70 boats will be allowed. Registration form.REGISTRATION CHECK-IN
All boats must check-in. Registration check-in will be Friday Aug 29, 2008 at Louie's Backyard between 5-8.If you cannot make check-in, contact Betty at breeh@satx.rr.com no later than 2 days prior to the start.

The entry fee includes: Ruff Rider T-shirts, dinner at the midway point Saturday night, continental breakfast Sunday morning and awards ceremony. "No Shows" will receive Race Packet only. NO REFUNDS.PRICING:
$150.00 per 2 person boat. $75.00 per single person boat. NO extra crews (1 or 2 man boats ONLY) and No boats allowed with a USPN # higher than 76.2.Payment required with registration. Registration opens July 6th and will close August 10 or when we have 70 boats registered, whichever come first.
